Come and take advantage of this golden opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with this renowned director of animated films who has been the recipient of numerous prestigious prizes and accolades both here in Québec and abroad.
He will be presenting three of his short films produced by the NFB – THE BRAINWASHERS (2002), DEHORS NOVEMBRE (2005) AND SUBSERVIENCE (2007) - as well as other film clips and production photos to illustrate the special animation techniques which add dimension to his work.
In other words, he will share all the behind the scenes tricks of the trade which create magic for the spectator.

If you want to share your passion for the cinema with other festival goers, as well as with artists and professionals of the industry, you are more than welcome!

We can all be found at various times and locations within the pedestrian village of Tremblant:

• Happy Hour (5pm-7pm) Thursday, Friday and Sunday (19th, 20th, 22nd of June) at the WESTIN RESORT & SPA
• Everyday (18th till the 21st of June), after the last film of the day, at the RESTAURANT Les Artistes , till 1am
• After the closing ceremony on Sunday June 22nd, from 10pm on, at the Coco Pazzo

“TRIBUTE” TO MEXICAN CINEMA

This year, the Festival will be dedicating a full day to the Mexican film industry. Come meet and greet directors and actors who have come from Mexico to discuss their art with you. As a bonus, there will be plenty of nice surprises offered by the Consejo de Promoción Turística de México en Montreal.
