Mary, a young mother of two, accidentally discovers that her husband Thomas is leading a double life with Anna and  their baby  tucked away in another suburb. Discombobulated, Marie passes out, but later visits Anna, who is disconcertingly friendly and comforting. The semi-realistic tone becomes progressively more surreal as Marie tracks down Thomas at a masked ball, where she must face her emotional betrayal and private demons.
