Francois, a policeman, learns that his brother Gabriel, a condemned murderer, is being released from prison. It is a difficult reunion, but each one is willing to forget the past and move on. With his brother's help, Gabriel begins a new life. However, reality and old demons soon catch up with him. The fates of the two brothers, united in blood but separated by life choices, prove to be strangely intertwined.
