The film recounts the true story of five young Britains who undertake the long voyage from London through the Americas to Buenos Aires in search of their hero, who represents everything they love about soccer. He has been an incentive in the development of their skills and an inspiration in difficult times. Most of this very diverse group has never travelled before. To accomplish their goal, they must rely on their talents and charm to ensure survival.
